“Redzes ekselences centrs” (from Latvian “Center of Vision excellence) is a new concept center network of “Latvian American Eye Center” in Latvia. Two new concept centers have been open in 2020 – “Redzes ekselences centrs” located at the city center 3 Kr. Barona Street and the second branch in “Domina Shopping” mall at 3 Ieriku Street.

For the convenience of our customers, these centers will provide services to patients from all age groups and offer eye and vision diagnostics, evaluating individually most appropriate vision correction method or medical treatment. Full spectrum of all vision correction methods is offered and patient can choose the most suitable one – starting from optical glasses, contact lenses, orthokeratology or night lenses and even laser vision correction or vision correction with implantation of intraocular collamer lens. In the case of ophthalmological illness patient is treated accordingly and appropriate therapy or surgery offered.

At our centers you will be treated by certified ophthalmologists and optometrists. High quality eye and vision diagnostic process is based on the cooperation with the doctor and the optometrist. For excellent result the eye needs to be evaluated as an organ with its anatomical structures and in addition its function of vision has to be tested. Only complex approach and evaluation of both – eye health and visual function can provide the most appropriate solution. If only the visual function is evaluated and optical glasses or contact lenses prescribed, not always the real cause of the vision impairment is detected. It is crucial to find out the changes of the anatomical structures of the eye in a timely manner as some of the illnesses do not provide any symptoms in the first stage, however, they still need an early treatment. Therefore, prophylactic ophthalmologists’ consultations are recommended.

Activity of “Redzes ekselences centrs” is based on eye and vision care. Only when the reason or the cause of the vision impairment is detected, which means the diagnostics of eye as an organ, the appropriate therapy or treatment can be chosen. The main priority of the center is the complex of all vision correction methods in one place and service continuity during the overall treatment period.
